Wajid Gallien is retired from working as a Hospice Chaplain. For many years he has been a student of Sufism and the relevance of philosophies to spirituality for over 50 years. He has enjoyed living in France, Spain, Brazil, England, Canada and now in the United States.
Wajid’s insights into the spiritual journey, cultural awakening, and contemplative studies are the product of his attunement to Sufi teachings under the guidance of his mentor Sufi Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan.
Wajid has written 3 books The Heart of Knowing (2003), Wings of the Message (2005), and Light Mind – Dark Mind (2015).
Wajid is also a past vice-president of the Sufi Order of Canada, past President of the SOI-Seattle Board of Trustees, He is Regional Representative for the Inayatiyya, and continues to facilitate the coordination of Spiritual Training, Retreats, and Seminars at Wings of the Message Center in Seattle an affiliate of the Inayatiyya.
In 2024, our spiritual discernment will be Making a Home for the Mystic Heart
