Planning a program on Islamophobia and Anti-Semitism takes months of preparation. Between the conception of the program and its execution, Israel and Hamas engaged in a short war. This war polarized members of the local Jewish and Muslim Communities, eroding the common ground that had existed previously which, in turn, led to a number of the presenters withdrawing from our program.
The program that remains is, perhaps, the most important part: an example of how some local Jews and Muslims have been engaged in cooperative ventures for some time, and who continue to work together promoting social justice.
