UNIVERSAL WORSHIP

Join Zoom Gathering

“Meeting the Divine Mother as Mystery

This gathering is in-person. It will be live-streamed. You can view this service in real time on our YouTube channel.

The Universal Worship celebrates the essential unity of all religions. We light lamps and offer prayers to honor all traditions and invoke the messengers of God, known and unknown, who have appeared in all times and all places to serve and enlighten humanity. We allow this one message to enter our lives and change our being.

A beautiful deepening experience within the Universal Worship includes readings from the world’s diverse religious and spiritual traditions. See scripture selections for each month here, for DECEMBER, follow link here. We read specific prayers during the Universal Worship ritual and invite all to read along. You may download a copy of the prayers here.

Our 2022 Spiritual Discernment:
Encountering the Infinite: Meeting the Divine Mother in Nature, Humanity, and the Cosmos ~ a contemplative, exploratory inquiry and discovery
December’s focus: The Divine Mother as MYSTERY.

HINDUISM:
Closing my eyes, I perceive the radiant Black Mother
as indivisible, naked awareness,
dancing fiercely or gently on my heart lotus.
She wears a garland of snow-white skulls,
bright emblem of freedom from birth and death.
Gazing upon her resplendent nakedness,
all concepts and conventions vanish.

-Ramprasad Sen (trans. Hixon)
