“I slept and dreamt that life was joy.
I awoke and saw that life was service.
I acted and behold, service was joy.”
~ Rabindranath Tagore*
Volunteering within Interfaith Community Sanctuary is an aspect of our spiritual enrichment;
We are nourished through service to others. As we assist another to heal, grow, repair and restore their hope in humanity, we ourselves are made whole.
“You give but little when you give of your possessions,
it is when you give of yourself that you truly give.”
~ Kahlil Gibran
If you desire to volunteer at Interfaith Community Sanctuary, we encourage you to attend services, classes and gatherings and to connect with our members, officers and ministers in person. Following this initial contact there may be opportunities to volunteer.
We offer public interfaith gatherings within our sacred space and at other houses of worship. We collaborate with many faith and spiritual communities in the creation of dialogs, services, and symposiums.
