Sally Jo will share the service with ICS member Zach Brown.
For our 4th Sunday worship service on Feb. 23, Sally Jo will share the service with ICS member Zach Brown.
Together they will provide reflections and practices focusing on our Spiritual Discernment for 2025: "An Invitation to Create Sanctuary in Community" with special emphasis on February's topic: "Sanctuary for the Divine".
They will address the question, "What is blocking us from our connection with Divinity?"
Sally Jo and Zach will share brief practices they use to regulate their nervous system throughout the day and help them re-connect with Divinity when they begin to feel disconnected.
Reflective music and practices will be offered.
Zach Brown: Bio
Zach is an inquisitive guy who is perpetually asking questions, looking for new places and trails to explore, and searching out interesting conversations and novel ideas wherever they might pop up. Professionally trained as a civil engineer and raised on a farm in Texas, you will often find Zach somewhere amongst the natural world trying to figure something out or happily observing earth’s processes as they unfold. Zach and his wife, Debi, moved to the greater Seattle area in 2015 and found a welcoming group of friends at Interfaith Community Sanctuary soon after. Zach and Debi are now happy to call the Pacific Northwest home and the ICS community family.
