Lila Rapcewicz was born into a family with Magical roots. Her aunt Lola was a Santeria priestess and her grandfather Antonio was a Herbalist and Country Doctor. She discovered Wicca and Paganism at 15 and became a high priestess at 21 after creating her own Witch coven. She joined Interfaith Community Sanctuary in 1999 and enjoys learning about other Religions. Mary Davis:  I have been a “practicing witch” for 40+ years.I am a member of Gaia’s Temple and used to teach “pagan Sunday school” when my kids were young. I first “met” Brigid during the covid lockdown. What has now become a yearly ritual for me is to make sabbat candles honoring Brigid. It was during a meditation on our intentions for the year that Brigid came to me, put her arms around me and let me know I had worth and was a worthy human. I consider myself a “flamekeeper” and try to honor her by lighting a candle from her sacred flame every day. I hope that at this celebration of Brigid, that you too feel her love and warm embrace.
