Co-Minister Sally Jo Gilbert de Vargas will host two of our ICS Congregants:
Judy Sanderman, Co-Founder of Project Ethiopia
Dr. Aysu Rahman, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Suraiya Ataur Medical Center for Women and Children in Bangladesh
These two service projects have been supported by and considered part of the mission of ICS for over 20 years. This mission of community service and connection with communities across the world is considered a pillar of our spiritual life here at ICS.
Dr. Aysu and Judy Sanderman will be sharing stories of how they have used and continue to use Engaged Listening to create community and further the work of these organizations in Ethiopia and Bangladesh.

Also to continue creating sacred community as well as maintaining a historic building in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. Currently we are in the process of recovering from rain water damage.
