5th Sunday : Interfaith Sunday Service and Potluck Lunch
Sunday, November 30: Hosted by Sally Jo Gilbert de Vargas and Jamal Rahman: "Dedication and Commemoration of Our Loved Ones"
This interfaith service will feature short, meaningful readings from scriptures of various spiritual traditions, as well as music, chanting, blessings, and meditation shared by several congregants.
All in attendance are invited to help create an altar with photos and memories of loved ones who have passed on, and will have a chance to share ways in which their loved ones continue to inspire and manifest in their lives.
A potluck lunch will follow the service, where congregant sharing will continue over food and beverages.
