The Dances of Universal Peace are simple, meditative, multicultural circle dances using sacred phrases, live music, and simple movements to touch the spiritual essence within ourselves and each other. A transformative spiritual practice, the Dances are rooted in the celebration of all the world’s wisdom traditions to inspire harmony and peace. All are welcomed into the circle to hold hands in an embodied prayer of Unity

Elizabeth Dequine is a dance leader and coordinator for Dances of Universal Peace International. She leads dances in Seattle, Guatemala and Mexico. Under Elizabeth's joyful and heartfelt teaching style, the dances help us dissolve barriers and embrace an understanding of different faiths, cultures and life experiences.
