Sister Lucy will share inspiring stories about how she and her staff at Maher turn compassion into action and create peace, security and harmony in the world. Sister Lucy Kurien opened Maher's first home 30 years ago. Today, Maher offers a haven of hope, healing, and belonging to 2,000 women, men, and children in 73 homes across seven Indian states.

Among its first generation of children served is Mangesh Pol, who is now the Program Director of ‘Peace Camp International’ at Interfaith Community Sanctuary.
